What I do to stay in contact with my psa's and csa's is send the first email once you receive them is the first and foremost the very important because that lets them know your very interested in them. Then I send a email saying what to work on and if they have any questions I am here to help.
After that if they are online I instant message them to see if they have any questions for me, if not I send a email to just check in and see how they are doing.
I also send weekly emails using genealogy mailer to get everyone in your team. This way the other csa's and psa's get the information too.
Once everyone is established then I email once a week using genealogy mailer. This gets the whole team at once.
