There are actually Team Leaders who have hundreds of thousands in their group. And there are more of them than you might think.
Granted... the majority are not currently active, but enough are to make a very nice income. And... older and previously inactive affiliates frequently come back and are ready to work hard and become successful. Timing and being ready is extremely important to most affiliates. That's why we never totally give up on inactive affiliates.
Building a large team takes a combination of things. Here are a few important factors.
* Most all of these team leaders have learned how to build a website and get significant traffic from free search engine listings and other high traffic websites. This requires Search engine optimization skills. This can be learned online at SEO Forums and other teaching websites for free. The domain names owned are easy to remember and/or have home business, work at home, online income...etc in the domain name. The domain name usually matches relevant key word phrases people use to search for an opportunity to earn money online.
* Using marketing strategies learned from proven experts. This includes methods provided by SFI.
* Teaching duplication techniques [provided by SFI] to their PSA's who in turn teach to theirs and so on...
* Communications. This means responding to contacts from team mates in a timely manner. It also includes posting valuable and important stream messages.
* This takes a lot of time and hard work for at least the first 3-5 yrs... and forward from there.
* There is also some luck involved, which is more likely to happen the longer you work with SFI.. along with your Team staying active.
The bottom line is... when you see an active PTL or GTL whose been in SFI for at least 5 years, they usually have a downline minimum of 10,000+. And there are some real "go getters" who've done it in a year or two.
