The best way is to provide a good example. Yours own most preferably. Only when the people you recruit see your positive results, they may become less reluctant and more trusting.
If you write in your ad or say in a conversation that "people" earn money with SFI from the comfort of their own homes then you can be sure that almost everybody and their mother have heard about "people" earning money on the Internet and your message will be just another buzz in the Internet marketing white noise. If you, however, state that YOU earn money from the comfort of your own home, that YOU started for free, that YOU get the results and can prove it by presenting your Commissions Report "My Earnings" section of your Scoreboard then you can be quite sure that there will be people who will follow you.
Of course you may and should refer to SFI's reputation of many years on the market, you should present SFI as THE place to make money online, but your presentation will be even more credible and effective if you - again - back it up with your own results.
You must also remember that the question people approached with the so called "opportunities" have in mind is "what's in it for me?". So if you concentrate on benefits for THEM, if you present those benefits instead of trying to pitch them to join becaus YOU want them in your downline, you will again be more credible and effective.
