Good question. Yet this way of thinking can be along the lines of the "get rich quick" thinking - trying to get a large team of active affiliates quickly without spending the time and money to work it.
The statistics tell us that 1 in 200 signups will work the system properly. So you need to sign up 1000 affiliates to get your team of 5 Aces - and that takes a lot of time and money. Which it is supposed to, you are running a real business and you reap what you sow.
There is a danger here in thinking if you have inactive affiliates then "SFI is not working". Well if you are working the system then you are on your way to finding your actives who will also work it.
Obviously we should look for ways to improve, better ad sites, use S Builder, refine our ad campaign. However that also takes time.
The stats still tell us it is 1 in 200, that you need those 1000 signups to get that great team - and you will need to let them know this so they can do this, duplicate, persevere and don't quit.
After your 997th inactive affiliate that you can't motivate to work you may well give up. And you won't know if your 998th signup is the one who will make BTL in their first month. You may be less than one foot from the gold.
You have to go through a large QUANTITY before you find the QUALITY. The proverbial diamond in the rough.
