When I encounter people who are skeptical when I introduce SFI, I don't usually force the issue.
Usually when I am talking to him face to face I just open my SFI account and show him around what I got. Then he/she will start asking interesting questions, and usually end up signing-up.
Therefore my advice is you make SFI business work first for you by concentrating on the two main success factors, namely, affiliates and personally earned VP. It's easier to convince skeptics if you can show them proofs.
If you can not show proof yet then what you can do is show them SFI pages like "growth" page and show how many are joining. Show them testimonies of other members. Forum and ask SC is also great pages to show what other members are talking about.
You can also show them the BBB rating and the "about us" page.
But don't waste so much energy on people whose hobby is just being skeptical. There is no amount of proof that can convince such people hehehehe.
