I wish you were more specific in this question. This question seems a double edged sword. One would be moved to ponder whether you mean 'how does one qualify or move our quantity Inactive sign-ups into becoming Quality or how and what methods can we employ to get Quality sign-ups?' I will address both just in case.
In answering the former I think it's your role as a leader and sponsor to apply all of the leadership tips of being an awesome sponsor to try and help your team upgrade.
1. When you see people who are working SFI in your group, work with them! You can easily locate these people by checking your "My Movers" list on your SFI homepage daily. Support them closely, and train them to do the things you do so that you are creating duplication and maximum leverage such as;
Advertising like Crazy
Creating Duplication
Frequent communication
Keeping a positive mental Attitude
Running coops
Referring TC members
Offering Incentives and success tips
Leading by example
Keeping your team motivated always
Plus ALL of the "being an awesome sponsor" tips outlined in SFI.
Ever heard the saying you reap what you sow? Be the best you can be first then your team can emulate you. Eagles fly with the eagles always. Be the Quality and they will be Quality too.
2. Identify your workers and work with them. It's an Important time saver. Gery said that the way you create those 5 "top-gun" affiliates that you need is by treating them LIKE YOUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON THEM! Keep going through the deck and the 4 Aces will show up if you don't quit.
In the latter if what you meant is how do we effectively advertise to get QUALITY sign ups then these few tips should help
1. Always do a product Market march
Target your ads were the fish are biting baits and in plenty. A good example would be in comparing a safe list ad site to say an E-zine publisher who runs e-zines on home business opportunities his list. Of course the E-zine stands a far better chance of giving you better QUALITY signups because the subscriber list is highly targeted.
2. Do your own Market research
I could never emphasis enough how important this is. It's like having a ready and handy business plan that tells you everything you need to do in your business step by step.
3. Chose a GOOD marketing method that works for you, MASTER it and follow it religiously
Whether you decide it's gonna be PPC, CPM, CPA, or E-zines. Chose one and Focus on that one till you become master over it. There are thousands of traffic sources out there. Once you get one good one you trust stick with it.
4. QUALITY equals money
Without a doubt I will tell you from my experience that the best type of traffic is the one from which you spend Ad dollars. Once you have the right source, it is fast, scalable and consistent and has better results because it is laser targeted to your offer.
5. Lastly it's only logical that you track every single campaign you put out there. When using especially PPC, CPM or CPA networks it's highly recommended that you track your results. In fact it's a MUST that you do so. If you don't you are throwing money away. You are casting precious seed on rock surface.
