First, be sure to emphasise that SFI is not a get rich quick scheme, but a long term business with unlimited potential. I would also explain that all sales and success is based on numbers. When you put the opportunity in front of --- number of people, --- will sign up and --- number will be productive. The problem is that we don't know what the blanks are or when they will come. Let them know that the only way to fail in SFI is to quit and do nothing. Next, ask them to tell you what they have been doing, then come up with a plan to build the business together - have them agree to expose a certain number of prospects to the business and you offer to help however you think is appropriate. Keep in regular contact with them so they know that you are for real and not just trying to make a quick buck off of them.
