Besides the qualification requirements; a team leader is expected to:
1. Be available on a regular basis to offer support to his/her downline.
2. Learn in continuity to equip oneself with answers for any questions that may arise from the affiliates in the team under him/ her.
3. Develop his/her listening skills in order to internalize the issue of a team member as it comes up.
4. Communicate effectively to ensure that any massage relayed will be appropriately important/ absolutely necessary and quite precise.
5. Prioritize all his/ her tasks in order of urgency, importance and necessity.
6. Walk the talk. A leader should be an action taker in the eyes of the team. Doing anything before recommending it to the team members will be just a favor to oneself in the position of leadership.
7. Appropriately research ideas/ facts for instant problem solving. A well researched answer will always satisfy the person asking and builds more trust for the leader; making him dependable.
8. Engage in the forum for real exposure in the ins and outs of SFI biz.
9. Always seek personal development by updating existing skills and acquiring new ones.
