Whether he/she agrees, it is truly up to you to decide how important your involvement or investment is towards your SFI business. You will therefore need to convince your partner that SFI is a real business and being involved in SFI comes with it great benefits. One benefit includes ability to have your own business. We all know SFI provides great infrastructure and training, as well as opportunity to earn unlimited residual income.
Since all of us are different in our own ways and look at life from a different perspective, you will have to acknowledge that not everyone will understand and appreciate the benefits and opportunities for having your own SFI business. It is essential that you must do things that make sense to you, rather listening to others who do not understand your goals and plans.

Upon starting to receive your residual income from your SFI business, anybody in their right mind would be convinced that SFI is a real business and affiliates do actually make residual income from it.
