Well, it depends upon what is your idea of a "tight budget".
Since SFI is a business ( and not a hobby), it does need a minimum budget of $30 a month, according to my experience. This is a modest budget by any standards, I suppose. But the bright aspect is, SFI provides several avenues to maximise the return on this investment. For example, you can earn TCs and MRPs, participate in the PriceBender Auctions, get PSAs and CSAs awarded to you, earn commissions on the actions done by your downline, build your activities on the IAHBE membership etc.As you progress and your income increases, you could invest more. I am in SFI for the past one year and although I have not made any extra money, I have managed to recover my "invetsment".
Last but not the least, SFI is fun and more rewarding than spending time on any social network like FaceBOOK.
