Hey, this is a tricky one!
You're right, couples don't always share the same opinions or beliefs. Your engagement in a program like this one may alarm your better half, out of the fear of losing money.
Like in any other spousal dispute, you need to remember vows about sharing good and bad. That includes money, as well. So, how can you convince your partner that investing in SFI is prudent? Let him/her take a look, sit by your side while you're doing your tasks and reading the LaunchPad, Training, Ask Gery, and so on. Discuss it openly, don't insist on your point of view. Be tactful. It's actually the same as with new PSAs or CSAs! You need to prove your good will and good intentions, not to raise additional doubts and opposition. Make an agreement with your partner about the funds you may use towards growing this business, and stick to the agreement. Report all good and bad news regularly, listen to your partner's point of view.
Basically, behave the same way as in any other disputes you face. It's your partner, a person who chose to spend his/her life with you, and deserves some credit.
