I try to usually analyse some of these questions by relating to real life situations which people have experienced. For example having a child who may start out slow but exceeds all expectations when he/she tops the class! The parents feel proud at not having given up on him/her.
Inactive CSAs are those slow starters who need time, patience and constant motivation to take the next step forward. I would also include in the regular mailer, my own achievements in SFI in the hope that it will generate interest. This can create curiosity towards the program and likely to also start a communication process between you and the inactive CSAs.
I also find it useful to have a list of the CSAs on my whitelist (personal email) as this is a way to personally communicate with each CSA especially if they are not logging into their SFI accounts.
We have to give them time and not give up on them. They might be the ones to nurture your business in the future!
