I do not think there is a right or wrong answer for this question because every customer is different but I think when one sell on TripleClicks he or she should focus on meeting the needs of every individual who may visit the site and by so doing the cost of items should be attractive enough and should benefit both the seller and the buyer. Most buyers look at price first but there are those who will look for quality. It makes no sense to put items for sale that can be obtained elsewhere and put them at exorbitant prices, it is very likely that the items will not be sold quickly or at all.
My advise as a prospective ECA would be to sell things that are in demand(a market research could be a good option to make a judgement), calculate your price based on the cost of the product including all overheads and add your mark up. Do not forget to take into consideration the percentage on sales which has to be deducted on your sales, this should be considered as well.
