Make sure you first list your website on all the search engines you can. Then you will want to optimize your pages as much as you can. This means that when adding content (words) to your website you will want to use any and all words that relate to what you are promoting or selling.
Take time to do a search on what others are saying about the same products and services that you have and gain ideas from their sites without copying them. Make your own site your own work, keep it original and yet make sure you include everything you can about what you are doing. Yet keep it succinct so that your pages are not too long. Up to 300 words of text per page (You can have more but few people will read it).
Build your website every day and continue to work on it diligently. Keep it fresh and interesting so people return to your site and tell other people about it.
