Some will, some won't, so what? Next!
The majority of people who sign up will never do anything, but here are a couple of things that work for me:
Personal correspondence is very important. Happy Birthday, National Holidays, natural occurances - any special time that comes up gives you an opportunity to reach out on a personal level. Just a brief note helps your Affiliate understand that you care about them as a person, not as piggy bank. For instance, after the recent typhoon, I sent personal notes to each of my Affiliates in the effected area, and several of them have shown up on my Movers list! Hopefully, you will encounter happier reasons to write, but look for them.
For those about to expire, I send a letter reminding them that there once was a dream - something just out of reach - that caused them to look at SFI in the first place. I sincerely hope that they have been able to reach that goal some other way, but if not, I humbly suggest they take another look at SFI. One or two usually try again.
Keep in mind why YOU came to SFI, what kind of recognition or assistance YOU needed at the beginning, and give that from the heart.
Good luck!!!
