All affiliates need encouragement at one time or another. Constant encouragement can sometimes be seen as too bossy, dictatorial or maybe as information overload. If this is so, the affiliate will do absolutely nothing so the affect would be opposite to what was hoped for.
Affiliates who never do anything should not be ignored. It may be they are inactive because of time and unforeseen occurrences. However, remember at any time a person’s circumstances may change and he may then be in a position to be active. Never give up on any individual. People are motivated at different levels and from different actions.
You, the team leader should always strive to be adaptable. Try new angles or new ideas. Check your affiliates’ profiles and try to reach them on their level and their interests. It is important to see what their goals are, and try to see things from their perspective.
I have had a unique experience from one of my affiliates. Our conversations are mostly on Skype. She had not done anything on SFI as she does not yet understand our concepts; however, we have remained friends. Whenever I see something of interest I send it to her. I am confident that in time, she will grasp the idea, see my progress, my improved standard of living and will make a positive move to be active in SFI.
The main thought here is that we should never give up on affiliates. Always let them make the final decision
