If you and your 1000 affiliates with only about 100 over 4 or 5 months in SFI do you really only what to send one weekly Genealogy Group Mailer, or would one a month be better? What I have read from SFI training is at least once a week. In other words, if all is going well, you have great sponsors of great sponsors of great sponsors, the minimum is once a week.
The training I understands is you also work individually with affiliates. TL's are required to maintain a MY Leadership Page. Do we really want 1000 newbies, and that is me too, finding answers amongst all the information by SFI on their own, and going to the Forum for information and DIS-information, if we have the correct information, or maybe we don't? Give 17 very active affiliates Gift Certificates as rewards for contests when they have only weeks in SFI, and see how many know how to use them.
I did not even know! I had to guess what they had to do. Nobody ever told me. No SFI instruction laid it well enough. "Gift Certificate Account" was not on my order process form. I search the glossary for many answers and they are not there. A day or two later SFI has loaded the answer I was searching for. Nobody else before me ever asked? Somebody had to know. So I am learning and I afford the affiliates all I have.
I use the Streamer usually for Congrats, but If I have something short, at least the daily doers will read it. I send the group about 3 times a week.
I work individually with suggestion and tips, and the dreadful experience of explaining step by step how to do something, I give "breathing room." If I am not getting through, and they are not understanding, I don't push. they usually keep working and progressing, even if I cannot succeed in getting them to do what they are aiming to do, such as simply use the "Gift Certificate Account" option. We are all new to, SFI, internet marketing, and some of us, new to computers.
Chatting is good at times but they might get annoyed. For the just enrolled I am now waiting until it looks like they may be stuck. Timing it right, you can keep an enrollee progressing, and coming back.
I am pretty knew so I probably don't know what I am talking about.
