I have seen similar questions like this on Ask SC before. I would like to give you a way to put this question to rest. Send a genealogy mailer to your team. In the middle or 3/4 of the way through the message, place a contest. You can use co op shares or gift certificates. For example: The first 25 people to send a reply with there name and SFI id# will recieve a $2 gift certificate. Give a week and if no one responds to this, you are probably sending to many messages. After the week is over send another message stating that the contest is over and thank all who participated. (explain the contest in that message) At the very least, you will motivate them to read the next message. I usually send 4 per month. This way when my down line recieves a message from me, they know it will be of quality. The quality of your messages are more important than the quantity of messages you send. By doing one mailer per week, you have an entire week to think of something useful to say.
I hope this helps you
