What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?
The number of people you know is irrelevant for this type of business. The majority of your prospects will be found online anyways.
It's funny, because that was my first thought when I saw the first method for sponsoring affiliates: "Tell your friends and family to sign up as SFI affiliates." I can pretty much guarantee my friends and family would not be interested. Most of my family is afraid of the internet. They would have laughed at me at the beginning if I had tried to recruit them.
Now, I have a check coming from SFI each month. I also understand how SFI works much better than I did at first. I am better equipped to explain to them how it works, what exactly I do to build my business, and to show them that it is possible for them to do it, too.
My advice would be to get yourself started primarily through advertising online, then when you are making a profit in a few months, you can invite your family or friends who might be interested.
It takes a certain type of person - someone with an entrepreneurial frame of mind - to succeed with SFI. Most of the people in your "warm market" will not be the right kind of people, anyways!
