in my opinion I would share with affiliates keen to create and maintain a SFI Website to bear the following areas in mind :
Choose a easy to remember domain and keep it the design simple and sleek not too cluttered with too much info 
Model after a simple layout with easy navigation to show the various key areas like the various Pricebender  featured   Won auctions items  and the various TripleClick  and selected ECA store items feature ; Free TC Gift Card giveaway  gateway and a squeeze page to solicit and get sign ups and purchase page for those who are keen to sign up or purchase stuff.

remember to. Install the various banners a d squeeze pages which are readily available from SFI so no need to reinvent the wheel . 
Remember to do regular maintenance on your blog and website periodically with fail
