First of all I would utilize the images and text ads you'll find under the mktg tab. And use text from the various SFI and TripleClicks gateways in your web design.
If you have your own hosting and domain names, I would also use the ones provided for you at https://www.sfimg.com/CustomDomainManager even if all you do is redirect them to your main free or other gateways.
I would also make the pages have most of the information at or near the top so that people don't have to scroll way down to read it. Then you'll be able to use your pages in traffic exchanges where most of the information only has about ten seconds to be seen and acted upon.
Depending on how much money you're willing to spend to create your own website, you could make it as elaborate or as simple as you want. But if it was me, I'd go for the simple. Even just a blog on blogger.com or wordpress.com or .org would be a good way to start. And no matter what you do, if it doesn't work out the way you planned you can always come back to using the ones already set up for you, and still do a good job. We get new gateways all the time and they're all very nice and do a very good job of presenting this amazing opportunity.
