This is a common problem. I too face the same problem many times. Many best friends whom I assumed will join this business turned their back on me. In this case we need to analyze different aspects from different perspectives.
1. Our personality: Often with known people we are too casual and we behave with them in a friendly manner which is unprofessional. So change your personality while putting this offer. Keep personal and professional relations different.
2. Communication: Make a solid ground for communicating this offer. As I said earlier, while speaking with known people we are casual and talk in a friendly manner, avoid that, create a professional environment, build up your confidence, an image of you are achieving something from SFI (not only monetary benefits, but also the learning can help here) should be radiating from your gesture, which will dramatically add value to your talk. This won’t happen in a day, you will have to rehearse in front of mirror and try doing it a number of times assuming you are delivering to your prospective clients.
3. Talk about “What is in it for me”: Everyone is looking for an opportunity to earn more. But at first people are hesitant to join some business like SFI due to pre-conceived notions. So we will have to study about each person’s interests and offer them the same. Fortunately for us, SFI has many things to offer, and SFI provides everyone what they are looking for: those who want to do marketing can do that, those who want to sell their products and looking for a free website, they can do that, those who just want to learn online business, SFI is the best. Keep searching these details and offer the people as per their mindset.
Doing all the above, don't forget to mention that SFI is real business and they (the prospective PSAs) need to go by rules to achieve success. Convey them there's no free lunch, else you will get PSAs but they won't be working, so no use in putting all these efforts.
After we go on progressing in SFI, no wonder, the same people who have rejected us earlier, will be interested in joining us. Cheers and keep working! There are many people out there looking for the right opportunity. Remember “The World is not Enough”.
