In everything rejection can be an issue. But here you need to ask yourself, who is doing the rejection.
You see if we do not ask, the answer is No. If we do not ask, there is no opportunity to say yes. And if we do not ask, we are engaging in self rejection. We are saying to ourselves, it will not work, they will not like my presentation, they do not want to take a risk. And in time our actions in our business will reflect this self rejection.
If you ask, maybe you will be rejected 80% or even 90% of the time, but at least "Yes" has a chance.
About 15 years ago I was in an MLM business, and I failed miserably. But my greatest failure was Paul. Paul was one of my best, very best friends. Our MLM company sold many products. About 6 months after I joined the MLM Paul came to me and told me about this great new shampoo and conditioner. Paul ran a chain of high end Salons. He said they were flying off his selves. The products were from my MLM, but he joined under someone else.
I thought Paul might be interested but I never had the courage to ask. I decided for him, which is wrong, and disrespectful. He sells to this day 1000s of dollars of product. I missed it.
To deal with rejection:
1. Respect yourself and your decisions. You decided to join SFI. It was a good decision. Now make it good.
2. Build this respect for yourself by doing your business well.
3. Respect your friends and give everyone an opportunity to decide for themselves, do not decide for them.
4. Realize when you are willing to receive "No" as an answer it is good for you, and gives freedom to your friend. Someone who wants to say "No" but says "Yes" will work in SFI like someone who said no. But someone who wants to say "Yes" and does so, will work like someone who sees the opportunity and seizes it.
