You don't try to climb Mount Everest first. You learn the basics of mountain climbing. You learn how to use your hands and feet, what to wear, what kinds of harnesses and ropes you should have, how and what to eat and drink, exercise and practice on easier ranges, learn about rocks and climate conditions and the dangers of sudden changes like storms and sudden drops in temperatures and map out your known trail. You learn from others and their experiences.
The same is for your goals in SFI. By learning everything there is to know about this business and the Compensation Plan, you decide what is your pace and work on your short-term and long-term goals. As you make progress, then you change your goals to fit your rate of that progress.
