It is difficult, because we normally don't mention investments when we recruit and start sponsoring people. On the contrary, we keep saying SFI is free and won't ask for your money. So it seems dishonest to ask for it later, especially as soon as the second or the third month into the business.
I think that people who have marketing experience and the know-how will not need a Standing Order because they will already earn enough points through sales, straight from the start. (Having said that, they will probably have a SO because they will be the first to see the benefits.)
The others will either quit, or invest. And if they secure their points with a Standing Order, they will have time to read and learn more about generating sales.
What I am trying to say is - don't try to convince them. They are probably just thinking if SFI is worth investing in or if they should quit. All you can do is say what helped you succeed, and hope they trust you enough to follow.
