Most answers focused on whether your family members are 'SFI material' - teachable, business oriented, trusting, etc. I couldn't agree more - it is very important. But I would also like to say that you need to think about this:
How do you feel about being a sponsor to your family members?
* Do you think you can gently suggest what they are doing wrong, without harming the harmony? :)
* Can you see yourself giving them incentives in a way that doesn't look like charity?
* Do you know what to do when they ask for financial support?
* Can you see the topic of SFI dominating your family gatherings? (parties, holidays...)
If you answered with YES to most of the questions, recruit your family members.
