Thank you for this very important and relevant question.
Trust is something we have to earn, not only in SFI but in other parts of our life.
As a Team Leader, we have to be a learner first.
We have to learn how to lead by reading motivational, inspirational and other self-help books to widen our understanding and horizon.
Then we impart these knowledge to our affiliates, so that they will also learn what we have learnt, thus empowering them.
We need to be open and honest and transparent.
We need to communicate with them regularly, always asking how we can help and reassuring them of our support and guidance by being available to them.
We need to be problem-solvers and not part of their problem.
We need to be able to back up our promises to help by regularly following up on their needs and appreciate their accomplishments.
With our Badges, we show them what we have accomplished and without telling them in so many words, we are showing that we are leading by example.
By having standing orders, participating in Pricebender penny auctions, PTP, t-time, Daily Grand Draw, and other contests, by participating in Forum and submitting answers to ASK SC, we are showing our team the paths for them to follow and eventually resulting in duplication.
