In a traditional business, there's always overhead. You have to buy something, even if it's just a bar of soap for a dog washing business, or lemons for a lemonade stand. And in most cases there's a lot of really big expense before you even break even. And that's not even counting your time, which is usually at least 8 hours a day, but usually more.
But with SFI, you have no upfront cost unless you want it. You can spend your time and make an income, and usually can do it part time. Both are better than a job, but if you're like me and disabled and can't work, SFI is even better than a job. I can still work from home and still get paid right along with my disability and unless I make way more than I'm making, I don't even have to pay taxes.
Another awesome thing for most people in the US, is that we can claim part of our home as our office and write off our computer, our internet, and office supplies and even our gas if we go to the store, even the grocery store if we buy office supplies there.
So you tell me which is better? I think SFI wins every single time.
