OK...I will add my piece of wisdom to this brilliant question:
Firstly,
Acknowledge that YOU ARE A BUSINESS WITH A TEAM...and GET buy-in from your TEAM Members
- make sure that ALL including your PSA's AND your CSA's know that they are in a Team (if possible highlight who the Team members are)
- highlight the TASKS of the TEAM (even if it includes doing their daily tasks) and FOLLOW-UP on completed tasks by asking via the Mailer if All are on the same page
- encourage those Team members that are lagging behind (even encourage Team members to get hold of each other) THIS IN ITSELF BUILDS TREMENDOUS TEAM SPIRIT
Secondly,
BE THE TEAM LEADER
- take the reins and steer the Team to where you want them to go and communicate this honestly
- plan for your Team (let them know that they have direction and you are there to give them that
Thirdly, yet not finally (as more can be added as your Team gets spirit and grows)
LEAD BY EXPERIENCE
- direct your Team to the safest places that YOU Yourself have experienced that will give them confidence
- guide them with HONESTY and REALITY...Do NOT exaggerate and build unfounded expectations in YOUR TEAM
