The golden rule is not to take any negativity or rejection personal.
For example, while at a coffee shop, the waitress approaches your table with a coffeepot to refill your coffee, you tell her "no thanks" or "I have plenty, thanks" or "no more for now." You don't see her feeling rejected by you as a customer. The same applies when someone declines to participate in the SFI opportunity you are presenting. Interpret their "no" as "they don't like direct selling or marketing", or "the timing isn't right for them."
Think of prospecting as a sifting process. Accept the "no" as part of the process of finding those who will say "yes." Let the negative people deal with their financial worries while you focus on building your business. Remember, you are in business for yourself; persistence, together with belief, can never be defeated.
