Hello Sue!!
It is very important to make a good impression when responding to inquiries from potential customers or someone who I interested to join SFI.
Of course, the best impression will be made by providing the materials or information that the perspective has asked for.
In order to respond properly, you have to answer that question – with a question.
Inquiries arrive in order to ask for more information about a product or a service. How helpful we are in providing that information will ensure that our inquiry response is successful.
Or not.
When we take time to hear, even what in-between lines are said, we can proceed:
- I Always start with thanking a person for showing an interest and asking for information.
- I Proceed with information starting with: In answer to your question (inquiry) about (… ) ~ means – i try not to talk what i want to tell ( and think is the best), but what perspective needs to hear.
- I Keep it up to the point and close after providing requested information with positive statement – not ‘hoping for future business’, but welcoming in, with strong impression that i am available for further help.
Regards,
