That is a very good question and I hope we all pick something from the different opinions being shared.
Negativity in life or any business like SFI, is something that is most often ignored or looked at as an enemy of progress. I say, however, that it is actually there mostly for the purpose of shaping and making you and your business better.
Without anything negative being said about you or your business as you promote it, certain heights can't be reached. Why do I say so? Firstly, we are not and can never be perfect and neither are our businesses nor the methods employed in promoting them. However, negative feedback can draw us closer to perfection as it helps us get rid of some of those things that cause us not to be perfect.
I'll give a simple example (hope it's clear). In my journey of learning guitar, I have friends "A" and "B". After weeks of practice, I play something in front of both of them and friend A goes, "Wow! That is so awesome. It sounds great" while B says, "Come on! You sounded even better last time." Who, between A and B, will really push me to work harder and improve? 'A' tells me that my practice has worked (maybe true but causing me to relax a bit) while B plainly asks me to work harder using a negative comment.
As much as you need some people to encourage you by saying positive things, you also need others to tell you what is wrong and this will really help you improve. In fact you should even pay more attention to those who say negative things (as you promote SFI) because they represent thousands more who have the same opinion, thousands who can't "talk" (but luckily they have a representative now). By listening and attending to just one negative fellow, you can, change certain things about your ads (or the way you approach potential customers) in such a way that others with the same erroneous opinion will be automatically addressed and possibly corrected the next time you do your advertisement.
Do not just ignore and forget. No matter what, just try to go through those unpleasant comments and if possible, try to communicate with and understand the authors. The spectators (e.g. when it is in a facebook group) will see seriousness and legitimacy in what you're promoting but if you simply ignore, it's a sign that those negative comments are speaking the truth (with some exceptions, of course). I'm not trying to deny the fact that there are some people who are always in a bad mood, always full of negativity. Maybe such should just be ignored.
Now to answer your question, what I do is I make sure I communicate positively with whoever brings negative feedback and I use their words to unlock unseen closed doors in my business. (That's not
an exaggeration)
Please take time to read lesson #82 of the Internet Income Course under the "Training" section here: https://www.sfimg.com/Training/Lessons/82 or read again if you have already. It covers something this issue.
Thanks.
