First of all, make sure your affiliates understand and are doing the daily basic tasks. Make sure they understand that this must be done daily, no matter what month they are in.
Convey early on that the first month is the "easy" month and that it gets a little tougher in the second month, and tougher still in the third month. They need to know that the easy VP will be gone and they must start to actually work the system if they want to be successful.
Your affiliates should be building their team by month 2, whether by promoting their business, S-Builder, whatever. Give them support to keep them enthusiastic. Don't try to run their business for them, rather guide them where necessary. To me, duplication does not mean "do everything just like I do", rather, "here's what works for me, how can we make it work for you". Everybody has a different style. This is where we take advantage of that. Some people are great talkers, others may be great ad copy writers. Teach your affiliates to utilize their strengths.
Finally, make sure your affiliates understand that they are building a real business. Nobody is going to pay them for doing nothing. Nearly all affiliates state that they "want to improve the quality of their lives". The second and third months will show you who is willing to do the work necessary to achieve that goal.
