I always advice my PSAs, CSAs, A2A friends and anybody who cares to listen that having an ECA is the way to go if you really want to sustain your SFI business. SFI/TripleClicks has provided you with the platform and framework to be successful as an ECA.
It will shock you to know that not much is expected of you to become a successful ECA. Anywhere there is a demand, there must be supply. SFI/TripleClick has over a million affiliates who are ready to buy from you, your ECA.
There are a couple of things you can do to make your ECA successful. These are;
1. First, you need a product to sell. It will be better if you can find a niche product to
sell. List for sell unique items that are difficult to get elsewhere.
2. Make your pricing attractive to would be buyers.
3. Treat your customers like kings/queens and provide good customer service.
4. Deliver your items to buyers as promised. You won't be a successful ECA if you disappoint
your clients. You will need to deliver sold items on time. There is usually no room for a
second chance.
5. You have to promote your products so that you can drive sales. Let your ECA store be
known. This you can do using some of the resources provided by SFI. You can also use
places like Facebook, twitters etc to promote your store.
I am sure that if you follow the aforementioned suggestions in addition to some of the other suggestions that has been given by other affiliates, you will be successful as an ECA.
