Start with your welcome letter. Advise them to earn enough points to become an EA, and to read some of the additional information, but then reread it in their second month to get the points. This has a two fold value. They get the information in their first month to allow them a better understanding of the program, and then they get the VP in the second month after reviewing and refreshing their information the second month.
I advise them that they won't gain much in the first month by going beyond the 1500 points, but to get as many as possible from clicking on the daily items. Then in the 2nd month, they can go for EA2 or btl whichever they are able to achieve and this will have more advantages than rushing through to the highest level they can in the first month and then coming short in their second month.
The second month separates the tire kickers from the serious individual. By addressing this in the welcome letter, you eliminate the tire kickers sooner.
