I have found that by creating a wide funnel through advertising and personal approach that I will filter down the active committed affiliate that I will work with and help them to become successful.
It has to be kept in mind that out of the many that sign up only a small percentage will really take their SFI business to the next level. If you only have a small number coming through then there could be a tendency to get too caught up with the lack of activity that may be present and get frozen in the development of your own business.
The most important aspect is to have the right welcome message and first initial mailing that will capture the enthusiasm and excitement of a new affiliate. Be bold and plainly display the potential of the business, and state what you are looking for as Leaders that you are going to spend your time helping them to achieve. Keep you eye on the ball and note those who are reacting positively and actively encourage and congratulate them for their efforts(remember many are completely new to this type of business)
In conclusion the number are initially important, but it is what you do when PSAs start to show potential. Pick up on the signals even if they do not communicate with you. Be prepared to be the initiator and guiding light.
