Dear Jonathan,
Very good question. What I can say is that you'd better postpone telling your family and friends about your business with SFI until a later time when you have already had tangible proof of success to show them.
My experience has taught me that family and relatives are the first, while close friends are the second, group of people who will not believe you easily and readily. They will think that you are only day dreaming about your SFI business. They may happen to be very reluctant to follow you. They may even be suspicious of you and laugh at you.
You can imagine how bitterly hurt I felt when I found out that my closest mates disbelieved what I said.
So, if I may suggest, begin advertising your business to people outside those two circles of people I mentioned above or the public in general. It is only later that you can approach your family and friends.
