Some new affiliates start off with a bang. They get the Fast Track Bonus and make EA within days. As soon as they hit their second month and find it a bit more difficult to accumulate enough VP, they lose interest.
By this time you have spent a lot of time on encouraging and mentoring them, while the slow starters may have needed more of your time. We must remember that not all new affiliates have access to a personal computer and then there is also the language problem.
Therefor I have learnt to not just writeoff the slow starters. They may have various hurdles to overcome. I have a few PSA's who are really working against the odds, but they have not given up. It may take them a while, but with effective leadership they may be the ones who succeed.
