Your support and communicating is the most important to keep him motivated.
New PSAs , except you, has SFI support and training, "higher" upline and co-sponsor, a2a friends, in fact he has everything he needs in SFI even if you are not here and if he is interested enough.
At the end, at least you can do is to direct him to ASK SC, Forum, Basic, Launchpad, etc...
SFI community is big enough, bigger then you, show them that and teach how to use it.
