Before meeting your prospective client do your home work for the meeting as follows---
1) Take the appointment as per his convenience in regard to time and place.
2) Arrange for all the information and supporting material needed for the discussion
during the meeting.
3) Be in time as per schedule of the meeting.
At start of discussion:
1) Greet him warmly.
2) Don't start the business discussion immediately.Chat with him for some time and make
him comfortable and understand his interest and background and try to find out his
objective for second income plan, before starting the discussion.
3) Start your discussion according to his objective and interest and don't paint very
rosy picture and give false commitments that you will start earning money from day
one. Project the correct facts and figures and tell him that it is a business and
will take time to grow.
At the end of the meeting---
Don't forget to handover your SFI business card along with your contact details and SFI gateways which will help him in contacting you.
