Many one liners are effective, the one liner heading is the most important part of the advert especially with internet adverts, less so with newspaper ads.
Choose something that will raise your prospective clients interest or curiosity, the SFI banners are a good source to use - "Money worries?" "This company puts its money where its mouth is every day" are just two examples.
Another one I used on an Internet Pay per Click advertising network was "The MOTHER of opportunities" and its counterpart " The Godfather will look after you".
The heading is the most important part, with a brief description to further raise the interest and then let the GATEWAY do the work.
Writing about Internet adverts in general I think long and rambling adverts with up-sells, down-sells, special offers only for the next 5 minutes, and all the other "tricks" are a massive interest turn off.
It is worth remembering that with newspaper classified ads many use the alphabetical system so "All that is needed is you" will be higher up the results than "Want more money?"
Read other peoples adverts and give them a score in your mind of what is effective then use that information. "Words that sell" and "Phrases that sell" are two books worth reading.
Lastly do not tell lies, it is better to leave something out of the advert rather than tell untruths. ("INSTANT cash" for example.)
Just be creative and TRACK the results so you know what works.
