Always the first impression is the best impression. You can successfully follow-up with the prospect after creating a good impression failing which the follow up may not yield good results.
The purpose of Follow-up is to help your prospect decide to join your business. Unless you have created confidence in him/her during your initial contact they may not respond favorably during follow-up.
Always present a simple and promising introduction to your prospects. Show them the benefits they can get by joining rather than the features of the business. The decision of your prospect will largely depend on what they can get out of the business. The great features of the business will only be supportive.
I would once again like to say that the initial presentation to your prospect is the most important element in building your Team.
