I am a strong proponent of personal branding as a means to increase results when marketing online. I have spent the last several years developing my personal brand, to make sure that people associate my name with integrity, honesty and excellent support. When I send prospects directly to the gateway that has my name on it (by showing it in traffic exchanges, for example), people are more inclined to sign up because they know who I am and what they can expect from me.
There is one way this gateway could be further improved, however, and this would be to include the affiliate's photo. A photo tends to be more memorable and eye-catching than a name, so people are more inclined to remember a photo the next time they see it.
This advice only applies when sending new prospects directly to the gateway without any prior contact. If you are using social networks, blogging, or face-to-face contact with your warm market, it matters less which gateway you use because your prospects are already aware of who has sent them there.
