My own personal experience has shown me that you have to "think outside the box" when it comes to off-line promotion.
For example, I am sending a parcel in connection with another of my income streams so I put a home printed flyer inside the box BUT I also paste a flyer on the OUTSIDE of the box. (Mine reads "Are you getting enough? Want a bit extra? Go to this website--> My gateway website")
This will be seen by countless people in the course of its delivery and hopefully enough will be interested to investigate.
Going to the supermarket? Then take some small flyers and put them in peoples trolleys.
Going for a drink or burger? Leave them on the trays or tables.
Eat, drink, sleep, breath your business by looking for marketing opportunities everywhere.
I find off-line promotion works just as well as on-line.
P.S. DO USE TRACKING, its easy and then you will know where your efforts are being rewarded.
