Offline marketing is the opposite of online marketing. It is the traditional methods of marketing such as television/newspaper/magazine adverts, posters, jingles, etc. There are many offine tools for advertising SFI as a whole (sponsoring, sales, ECA, Pricebender etc.), but since the question talks about recruiting affiliates, I'll limit it to that:
1. Talk to people directly about the SFI business opportunity. One-on-one advertising to people you know have proven to be one of the most effective way of recruiting affiliates. You can show them your TripleClicks MasterCard as evidence you're paid every month.
2. Buy and distribute the SFI X-cards to friends, family members, co-workers, associates. Leave them in taxis, restaurants, in shops etc. They are very affordable and you can find variety of them on TripleClicks (http://www.tripleclicks.com/search/dept/370).
3. Buy and use SFI branded products like the t-shits, face cap, button, messenger bag etc.(http://www.cafepress.com/gosfi). When people ask you about them, give them an X-Card.
4. Post flyers on public bulletin boards in your area grocery stores, fitness centers and gyms, college student unions, Laundromats, and anywhere else that has boards for public postings. You can download and print SFI flyer here: https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/OppFlyers
5. You can organize seminars on SFI. Try to hook up with other affiliates in your city and plan one together with them. Make a PowerPoint presentation for the SFI business opportunity and purchase various advertising materials to help you here: http://www.tripleclicks.com/search/dept/370.
6. Send bulk SMS to potential targets. You could use your contacts or use contacts provided by many bulk SMS sites.
7. You could place an ad in your local newspaper/magazine. Use carefully crafted text (see sample here: https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/OppTextAds) for maximum appeal.
I hope these helps. see you at the top!
