I find one of the best tools for helping an affiliate remain in SFI is to tap into their original desires and allow them to talk about their hopes.
There is very little you or I could say that would convince someone to stay for any more than another week or a month at best. People stay or go depending on what is happening in their heads. Their hopes and desires, their thoughts, their resolve are what hold them in place. If things are not happening as they imagined then they will often opt out.
Talk to them honestly about their dreams and ways to make them happen, one-step at a time and stay away from talk of instant riches or money without effort, chances are they are already disillusioned by these empty promises. Share some of your own frustrations and how you overcame them. Use their initial dreams to fire them up again and keep up the contact. Nothing says you care, like sending follow-up emails with points they shared in it.
You will never convince someone to stay, however, you may help them keep their flame alive long enough for a sustainable fire to build.
