I will let you know how to go ahead Step by step :
1) Learn Blogging First : See as a novice person regarding to technology and Internet Best way to learn is Google your problem and for more practical way to learn always go for Youtube. As you are new to blogging , it's depends upon which platform you are using like blogspot, wordspress or any other. Independent of platform the concept is same but features are different so your First task is to choose right platform which can provide you more features and Easy to use (User friendly).
2) Start Visual Learning and Become Practical : Now Go to youtube and type how to use blog efficiently. You will find so many videos which will explain you how to use blog and it's features. Learn them by heart.
3) Research and do analysis of others : After learning Blog Features now you need to go to Google and type "SFI blogs". You will find so many blogs of different people and now gather different information form each blogs , their design , how they have put Rss feeds , Banners, Gift cards promotion and so many things will you get from different blogs and sites which are already made from other people. You can copy from them.

4) Apply knowledge and use Resource to your Own blog : Now you have gathered so many data and knowledge and now you are intelligent enough to use your knowledge. You have so many resource in SFI itself like banners , its code and all. DO try and error of posting different banners and posts and make prefect flow for your blog so if any one goes to your blog then he/she can get how to go ahead, which step will be next and etc. Make banners view at perfect place and make it more attractive. There are so many factors affecting like Keywords, Banners position , color of site, Videos, Quality of content and so more. You can learn all of them at training section as well.
