Using Skype as a communications tool with your team members has its pros and cons.
Pros:
Using Skype can be useful to gain the confidence of your new Affiliate members to gain their respect and trust.
It is a great tool to extend an ongoing friendship with your active downline.
Some Affiliates will appreciate the one-on-one contact to understand the topic of discussion.
And, it is a motivational tool if you are willing to spend a little one on one time with a struggling Affiliate.
Cons:
Possible language barriers if both or all parties do not speak the same language well enough.
Slow computers, some PCs are not fast enough to keep the flow of conversation effective.
It is time consuming.
And, it is not an strong tool to provide details, for example links to web pages, reference materials, etc.
I have found the SFI Chat service to be more effective, for one-on-one contact.
And, it gives you the ability to
search for specific information to provide assistance and answer questions,
at the same time.
You must decide if it will be a good tool for you.
