If you are referring to the downlines in SFI your downlines/CSA/Affiliates in SFI, you could start with the official e-mailer from SFI. It is essential you start from the SFI platform to build the trust and connection since most of the downlines are either from your co-ops or leads generated from various sales funnels like squeeze pages etc. These affiliates or members don't know you so well, so you have to start slowly to build the relationship. From there you can then start emailing each other via GMail, Yahoo, etc. If they use Yahoo messenger, good. Then request a Skype or FaceBook contact details and take the communication to there.
I wouldn't start calling them on the phone because the idea for me is to use the cheapest and effective means of communication. To make money your expenses have to be less than your income. I employ the above strategy in all my communications and in the short run, I am able to build a very strong relationship.
Calling downlines immediately creates avoidance because they think you are only interested to sell to them or make money out of them. It is more effective when you start slowly via the mailer, then the email, then bring them to social media and communicate further.
To engage on a two-way communication with my PSA's, I use the ICQ chat most times. I make phone calls often to communicate with them. I would not fail to use the official emailer from SFI. I also use SFI messenger whenever I see that one is online. That is how I do it and I think is the most appropriate.
