This is something i put alot of thought into as well. I think the answer lies in analyzing your Genealogy for 'age groups' - The Gen Y's and X's love text, chat, facebook and myspace etc., whereas baby boomers prefer emails and phone calls. I think the answer is 'go communicate where your downline hangs out'. Gtalk is fabulous for IM all round, as is Skype, and now with G Circles there's also a video hangout for live chats. We have a wonderful set up at SFI, but it's about tapping into our downlines' minds and meeting them on their common ground first, so as to build a bridge of trust until they are prepared to cross over and meet you on the other side
